devil's frire barn dance band

Village and Community Barn Dances and Hoedowns

A community Barn Dance or a Hoedown in a marquee, village hall or community centre, - what could be more British and traditional than that?

Barn Dances are great levellers and can be enjoyed by all ages from young children to grannies and grandads. Devil's Fire have dances just for the youngsters and also can do waltzes etc for the older members of the audience. We even end the evening with a few good old rock 'n' roll numbers so the evening ends on a high note.

Here is some feedback from these events:

FRI 29TH APRIL 2016 at Cheshire View Masonic Lodge, Chester

Hi Fran,
The band and caller were fabulous. I enjoyed it.
On the night we had all the right people who really threw themselves into enjoying the event.
We managed to raise money for Ben's Borneo trip and Soldiers Off The Street
Thank you all once again. Jacquie

Email from organiser following event:
Hi Fran, Thank you very much for organising the band again for us.
The Hoe Down was one of the best that we have had to date and that was helped by the band being flexible with us and doing a 'family hour' at the beginning. The caller was also a bit of a star and helped with the raffle (so I didn't have to go on the microphone this year!).
Thanks again , Regards Joanne

"Gem Appeal" charity event 18th June 2011 at Whitworth Civic Hall.

Amongst the guests that day was Tim Healy (Auf Wiedersehen Pet and Benidorm) who sang a number with the band. He's the one dressed as a Mexican!

As you can see, it was a western themed event (hence Dave wearing a cowboy hat).

Here is the accompanying email:

Hi, Just a quick note to say THANK YOU.
How fantastic was Devil's Fire at our event.!!
Everyone had such a good time, they are still raving about it now. But how do we top that for next year?  We could do with something the same but different if that makes sense.
Thanks again, Wendy - Gem Appeal Trustee
