Dave Hayes

Dave is a fine musician who enjoys acquiring and playing his various electrical instruments – with special fondness towards an electric mandola, electric tenor guitar plus a combination of three very different mandolins:- a Fender electric mandolin as well as two solid-bodied electric mandolins (one without a maker which was purchased from a Runcorn music shop – and the other, a hand-built Gordon Smith mandolin which Dave helped to design.
Dave also plays two electric violins and a four-string banjo.
For amplification, he likes to use his hand-chosen Fender twin-speaker amplifier for its rich tone and gutsy volume. As well as his electric instruments, Dave also has a decent collection of acoustic instruments, including acoustic mandolas and acoustic ukeleles.

Dave Smith

Daz is predominantly the bass player with Devil’s Fire Band, performing with great feeling on every performance. His Fender Precision Bass is his particular pride and joy. Dave (Daz) has a wonderful “punchy style” that perfectly compliments Devil’s Fire’s foot-stomping rhythms.

 

 

 

 

Greg Slater

Greg is an exceptionally creative musician. His favourite musical instrument is a Fender Stratocaster guitar. Greg’s dexterity of fingers, together with his raunchy leads, have helped Devil’s Fire Band to “stamp their trademark” on many of their musically exciting numbers.

 

 

 

 

Derek Eccles

Derek is the superb and well-accomplished drummer of Devil’s Fire Band. He loves to share his enthusiasm of percussion with the audience.
Derek’s drumming abilities, and capabilities, are tested to the limits at every one of his events with the Devil’s Fire Band. Audiences are always well-appreciative.
He invariably entertains on his well-coveted Premier Percussion Kit – which is constantly being improved on - and expanded.
Having been a key member of Devil’s Fire Band for many years, his skillfulness in the art of percussion has always meant that Derek suits the band “to a tee”.

 

Reasonably priced, - they always make any wedding receptions or parties a roaring success.
