Public Liability Insurance and PAT certificates UK

 

Before you hire a band for your evenings entertainment ask them two very important questions:

1) Do they have Public Liability Insurance?

More and more venues are beginning to insist on bands having public liability insurance. A sad fact of life is that accidents do happen, especially when people are enjoying themselves in a boistrous manner after having had a drink or two. You can rest assured that Devil's Fire have Public Liability Insurance.

2) Is their P.A. Equipment safe?

As well as having insurance, most entertainment agencies and public entertainment venues are now beginning to insist that the bands equipment is safety tested - this is called PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing). Any electrical equipment must be safe, amplification equipment is no different. Devils Fire have an up-to-date test certificate for all their amplification equipment.
