devil's frire barn dance band

Wedding barn dance and hoedown bands

Having a barn dance or hoedown for your wedding reception has become very popular for many different reasons.

A wedding barn dance is a great way of getting your guests involved and enjoying themselves, - because a barn dance spans all age groups whereas a disco is only catering for a fairly narrow musical taste or age group.

Having a live band invariably adds to the overall atmosphere and can make the evening far more memorable for all in attendance. The cost for Devil's Fire Band is competitive when compared to other forms of musical entertainment. The band can play an opening waltz for the bride and groom to perform their first dance and the Caller can act as a kind of MC to the evening, making any important announcements such as cutting the cake or announcing the buffet etc. The Bride and Groom's opening dance is, of course, optional. Many prefer to just be part of the opening dance by leading a hoedown set.

The advantages of a barn dance over a disco or other forms of music is that the dance floor is always full. This is not always the case with a DJ. It depends on the selection of music they play and the age range involved. With a barn dance the guests are actively encouraged to join in and the evening turns into a celebration in the truest sense. Everyone is smiling and everyone is involved, across all the age spectrum.

Hi Fran, So sorry for not getting back to you sooner after the wedding. It was such a lovely day, thank you, and everyone was so happy.
The band, as last time, were fabulous.
There were a lot on my son-in-law's side that hadn't been to a barn dance before and thoroughly enjoyed the music and dancing.
Roger's calling was both necessary and excellent. Thanks to you all. I'm so looking forward to our next celebration to book the band again.

Best wishes, Heather x

Hi Fran,
Please can you thank the band for their brilliant performance on Saturday night. They were genuinely fabulous and everyone has been raving about them since.
Our dancing was truly truly shocking but the caller was sooo patient and we had a blast!
Couldn’t have been better and they made our day.

The caller was brilliant and everyone that came has said what a fab time they had.
It was different to any other wedding that ive known but it was filled with fun and laughter, from beginning to end.
I hope the band enjoyed it as much as we did.
Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to all involved. I couldnt of wished for a better day.
They are brilliant such good fun, and really know how to get a party rocking.
They deserve all the praise they get, as they made my wedding reception perfect.
